The River Kent, Sedgewick
Oil on board, 8"x10"
First time out with paints for a while. I have been intending to paint at this spot when I got a chance. The River Kent goes through a narrow rocky gorge at this point and is used by kayakers to practice their white water skills. It was quite fun watching them take the falls. Most got through OK but occasionally one was turned sideways and would lose it.
The colours in the water were hard to see so I made them a little higher key to give a bit more impact.
